The content of this course will be based on the following principles: definition of concepts; introduction to key authors; and emphasis on the theoretical and practical foundations for each topic to be covered. Specifically:

– Education

– Praxis

– Care and Education at the Daycare Center

– The Pedagogy of Relationships in Daycare

– The Role of the Various Members of the Educational Community in Caring for and Educating Children at Daycare –

– The Ethics of Care

– Participatory educational approaches for children ages 0–3

– A critical reflection on the pedagogical intent behind caring for and educating others in the practice of each trainee
