The World Upside Down
In *The World Upside Down*, Mario Ramos tells the story of Rémi, a little mouse who feels that the world around him is… upside down. While others seem to move about naturally, Rémi lives in an inverted world where nothing seems to make sense. When he discovers that, somewhere out there, there are other beings who see the world as he does, he sets out on a journey in search of his place.
With great sensitivity and humor, this picture book explores themes that are deeply meaningful to children, such as the feeling of not belonging, being different, empathy, and the need to find one’s place in the world. The illustrations, which constantly play with the reversal of perspectives, reinforce the message and invite children to view reality from other points of view
